1 tablespoon garlic powder 1/4 cup preferred vinegar Mix dry ingredients in a small, resealable container. Combine vinegar, oil and 2 tablespoons of the mix when you want to make the dressing. Editor’s Note: Playing with the vinegar can be fun. White vinegar, red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar all work well. The dry mix can also make a good rub for chicken. Delicious. Only recipe for salad dressing that my whole family enjoys. Thank goodness, I no longer have to make several dressings for one meal. I substituted raw honey for the white sugar and it was great. We don’t use white sugar for health reasons.

I added a bit of dried minced onion and added about an 1/8 of a cup of water to the final mix to cut down the olive oil. It was excellent.

I loved the dressing. Tastes even better than the Good Seasons Italian dressing in the stores. I added feta cheese to it! Delicious!

Good! I used mostly Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with a splash of regular vinegar in mine. I also recommend adding a little water to the final mix to thin it down a bit.

Thanks for the recipe! Sounds great! I usually make my own salad dressings too! I tend to experiment when I’m in the kitchen and the family is usually pleasantly surprised with the end result. My daughter loves my experimental dishes so much that she actually bought me a recipe book to write down my recipes in so she can make it herself!
