1-1/2 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C) Add ingredients to bread machine in the order suggested, with the exception of the last tablespoon of melted butter. Turn on dough setting, allow to mix and rise. Remove bread from machine. Grease any bread pans being used. Separate into loaves, rolls or whatever shapes you like. Allow to rise a second time until doubled or until dough tops bread pans by 1 inch. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes. Lightly brush tops with remaining melted butter to keep the crusts from getting hard. Editor’s Note: I love this recipe! I adapted it so that I could just throw the ingredients in my bread machine - the original was completely hand mixed. I love having my machine handle the mixing, but I don’t like the tall loaf it creates, so I prefer to bake my loaves in bread pans, as rolls, etc., depending on my needs at the time.
